Your Event Is Over. Now What? The Full Timeline for Getting Your KRUU Photos.

Your event is done. The dance floor is finally empty, the caterer has packed up, and you're running on a mix of adrenaline and wedding cake. You want to relive every single photo from that booth before your head even hits the pillow.

Here’s exactly what happens between “the event ends” and “you’re scrolling through 300 hilarious photos”

Step 1: Ship the booth back (Day 1 after your event)

The return process is easy. Your KRUU box comes with a pre-paid UPS return label already inside. After your event, repack everything in the original foam packaging, slap on the label, and drop it at any UPS Store location or schedule a pickup.

A few things that will make this so much smoother:

  • Watch the repack video in your customer portal before your event, not the next morning. You’ll be tired and you’ll thank yourself.
  • When your booth first arrives, take a quick photo of how everything is packed inside the box. That photo is your guide for repacking.
  • Drop it off as early as you can after your event. The sooner we get it back, the sooner your gallery goes live.

Step 2: It travels back to us (1 to 3 business days)

Once you've dropped it off, UPS handles getting the package back to our facility in Michigan. Transit is usually 2 to 4 business days depending on where you're located. Midwest customers tend to see it on the faster end.

You can track the return using the label info, just like any other package.

Step 3: We process your photos

When the booth arrives at our warehouse, our team uploads your photos, and releases your online gallery. This step is why there's a bit of a window between "it arrived" and "your gallery is live." We want to make sure everything looks right before we hand it over.

Once your gallery is released, you'll get an email letting you know it's ready. Most customers are looking at a couple business days from when we receive the booth.

Step 4: Your gallery opens up

This is the good part. Once you get that email, here's what you can do in the KRUU app:

  • Browse every photo from your event in full quality
  • Like and comment on your favorites
  • Download anything in HD to your phone or laptop
  • Share a password-protected link so your guests can access the album too
  • Upload extra photos your guests took on their own phones to the same album

There's no rush to download everything the second it opens. Your gallery stays accessible, so you can come back to it and relive the night whenever you want.

But wait, what about getting photos the night of the event?

Great news: you don't have to wait for the gallery for that. If your package includes the QR code instant download feature, guests can scan a code right at the booth after their session and save their photos to their phones on the spot. No app needed.

So guests get their photos that night, and you get the full high-res gallery once the booth is returned and processed. Best of both worlds.

Quick answers to the questions we hear most

How long does the whole thing take? Most customers get their gallery within 7 to 10 days of their event, depending on how quickly the return shipment reaches us.

Can I speed it up? Yep. Drop the booth off at a UPS Store location the day after your event (or even that same night if there's a 24-hour UPS Access Point near your venue). The faster we get it, the faster you get your gallery.

What if two weeks have passed and I haven't heard anything? Email support-us@kruu.com with your order number and we'll look into it right away.

Does my gallery ever expire? Yes, KRUU will host your digital gallery for 3 months in the cloud.

The short version

Ship it back right after your event. UPS gets it to us in a few day days. We process it and send you an email. Your gallery opens. The whole window is usually under 10 days from your event date.

Download the KRUU app now so you're all set the second that email lands in your inbox.

The screen shows a digital photo gallery titled "Alle Bilder" (All Images) filled with various group photos taken at a wedding. The photos feature guests in formal attire posing with fun props like heart-shaped glasses and "Just Married" signs. The app design is clean and modern, featuring navigation icons for settings, notifications, and sharing at the top.
