Yes, simply contact us via email at support-us@kruu.com. For each extension day, you will receive additional printing material at a significantly low price. If you book the KRUU Premium Package, you can add an extra day for your KRUU Photo Booth during the checkout process.
Payment is required in-full at the time of booking. If you would like to explore pay-by-installment options, KRUU partnered with Klarna and Affirm, which are installment-based payment services designed to make your purchase more convenient.
You are welcome to cancel your rental agreement at any time by providing written notice to KRUU. Refunds are calculated based on the length of your notice period and will be returned to the original form of payment. If you cancel 28 or more days before your rental, a 10% fee applies. For cancellations made 15 to 27 days before the rental, the fee is 50%. If you cancel 7 to 14 days in advance, the fee increases to 80%, and cancellations made within 6 days of the event are subject to a 100% fee. Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance with your cancellation.
Alternatively, you may request a one-time postponement at KRUU’s discretion, provided you notify us in writing at least four weeks before the original date. Postponements are subject to photo booth availability, and any additional costs must be covered by the customer. Please be aware that if you later cancel a postponed booking, a 90% cancellation penalty applies regardless of the timeframe. KRUU also reserves the right to cancel the agreement at any time for any reason with written notice.

To spare you annoying paperwork in case of damage, we recommend opting in for photo booth insurance. It covers damages to the KRUU Photo Booth resulting from proper use ($100 deductible). The insurance is already included in the price of the KRUU Premium Package, but can be added onto any rental package.
The KRUU Photo Booth is not intended for outdoor use. The device is temperature sensitive, as it must operate within a certain range to avoid damage and operate as designed. Additionally, exposure to direct sunlight and/or humidity is guaranteed to damage the product. We strongly advise against outdoor use, even under a pavilion or tent. If you choose to use the Photo Booth outdoors, please be aware that you are 100% responsible for any damages, regardless of insurance or circumstance.
The KRUU Photo Booth currently ships only to the continental US, which excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, The U.S. Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
The KRUU Photo Booth starts at $199 and includes all necessary equipment, paper props, printing materials (excluding the Lite package), and delivery and return shipping with no hidden fees, offered across three self-serve packages designed to fit different event sizes and budgets. All packages are based on a 24-hour rental period centered around the day of your event, rather than being charged by the hour. The Basic packages come with a standard Canon Selphy printer, while the Premium package comes with a professional DNP printer.
We ship the KRUU Photo Booth to arrive 1 to 3 days before your event. You can easily check the estimated delivery date in the customer portal. We recommend having it sent to your home so you can test its functionality ahead of time. Free UPS shipping is included with your order. In rare cases, the delivery may arrive earlier, and if that happens, you will receive a tracking email to keep you updated.
Each KRUU Photo Booth is carefully assembled, tested, and individually configured before it is sent out. When the booth is returned, we need some time to prepare it for the next booking. To ensure that every customer receives their photo booth on time, we are unable to ship it a day earlier or later.
Of course, we include numerous fun paper props with the KRUU Photo Booth. You do not need to return them after use. If you have your own props or ideas, you are welcome to use those as well.
We do not provide backdrops, as many of our customers prefer to use an existing wall or the event space as the background. If you choose to use a backdrop, we recommend a minimum size of 8x8 ft., though the ideal dimensions may vary depending on the placement and setup of the photo booth.
For the best photo quality and experience, we recommend guests stand approximately 2–3 feet away from the booth.
Returns are simple! Included in the box is a prepaid UPS return label. All you need to do is drop the Photo Booth off at a UPS Store. The booth must be returned by 11:59 AM on the first business day following your event. You may also schedule a UPS pickup; however, please note that someone must be home between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM for the pickup and the photo booth shipping box must be visable outside.
Setting up and dismantling the KRUU Photo Booth is super easy. With our detailed instructions (provided in advance via email and as a QR code on the package), the booth is set up and ready to use in minutes, even without technical knowledge. If you have questions during the process, our US-based Customer Care team's happy to help.
For the best experience, we suggest guests stand about 2 to 3 feet away from the photo booth. It is designed to be compact and space-saving, taking up very little floor space. Just make sure to set it up near two electrical outlets for convenient access.

The single photo option is exclusive to the KRUU Premium Package. You can switch between single photo or collage prints on the KRUU Photo Booth, provided 2 layouts were selected beforehand (one of which must be the single image layout). Upgrades to other packages are possible for an additional fee if you have already booked a different photo booth. Tip: Set the details in the customer portal up to 7 days before shipping. If you want a custom design, you will find a template there with all important information to download.
Yes - Photo Booth photos can be deleted, but only after your event gallery is available once the Photo Booth is returned to KRUU.
The Premium package allows you to choose between two designs, while the Lite and Basic packages each come with one print design. You can select from a variety of designs in the customer portal or create your own using our KRUU template. Please make sure your design is set before shipment so your photo booth is ready for your event!
After the first picture, the KRUU Photo Booth shows a preview of the collage. Tap the camera icon for the next snapshot (the timer triggers automatically). Use photo filters, confirm the photo, or delete it. Repeat this process. The photo booth always shows how many pictures are still needed for the collage.
If you book the KRUU Photo Booth Basic or Premium,wWe include enough paper for over 20 hours of KRUU Photo Booth fun – don't worry, so far nobody has managed to use up all the materials. If you're that concerned about running out of ink or photo paper, you can purchase extra through KRUU as well.
Yes, all photos taken will be made available for download after your event in the password-protected KRUU App once it is received and processed in our Michigan fulfillment center.
No. All photos will be ready for download in the KRUU App after the event. Please do not insert external storage media (SD card, USB stick, etc.) into the printer or the KRUU Photo Booth without being asked to do so.
Once the KRUU Photo Booth is returned to our fulfillment center, your gallery will be ready within 7 days, and often times even sooner. From there, you will receive access to a secure online gallery where you can download, share, and print all of your photos. The pictures are stored for 3 months.
The printer of the KRUU Photo Booth Premium cuts the pictures automatically. With the KRUU Photo Booth Basic, the designs are printed uncut – it's best to have scissors ready for this.
With the Instant Pic Download, you can instantly save pictures from the KRUU Photo Booth directly to your smartphone gallery via a QR code. Scanning opens the KRUU App (or the App Store) and saves the file. Requirements: the KRUU App, camera access, an active Wi-Fi connection to the photo booth, and location access. Unused QR codes can be opened and scanned later in the photo booth gallery.
The KRUU App is your free companion for your KRUU Photo Booth booking. It allows you to gather all the photos from your party in one place and offers an online gallery with a comment function, like option, and a Single Pic Download feature. In addition, you can manage your booking, save layouts, and find your return label here. Smartphone photos from your guests can also be uploaded directly.
Make your event unforgettable: design your custom layout in the app in advance. During the event, you capture moments in real time by uploading smartphone photos to the live feed and interacting via likes or comments. After the party, all KRUU Photo Booth pictures and guest snapshots are centrally collected in the gallery. You will also find the return label there for a relaxed return shipment.

To share the pictures from your KRUU Photo Booth with guests, use your customer portal or the app. Under "Settings", confirm the activation and the consent of the people pictured. Save the changes and share the event code directly from the app (email, WhatsApp, etc.) or via link with your guests. Note: The pictures are only available after the photo booth returns to our fulfillment center.
You will receive access to your gallery as soon as the KRUU Photo Booth is returned to our fulfillment center, where we will upload your photos. Your gallery will be available within 7 days of us receiving the photo booth. We will automatically notify you by email as soon as the pictures are ready to be shared.
Your pictures are stored for free in the KRUU App for 3 months and are available for download during this time. If you would like to keep them stored for a longer period, we offer this option for an additional fee. Please feel free to reach out to our Customer Care Team, who will be happy to assist you.
Your photos and data belong only to you! They are protected according to the highest privacy standards, GDPR which have been adopted by both the EU and the US. You decide for yourself who you give the access code for your gallery to, sharing your most beautiful moments absolutely privately with the right people.

Yes! A greeting is set by default. You can easily replace it with your personal welcome message (max. 20 sec.) in the KRUU App before shipping. Your guests will hear it at the KRUU Photo Booth before they start their own recording.
Your guests simply select the "Audio" function on the KRUU Photo Booth touchscreen. Afterwards, they have up to 60 seconds for their voice note via the microphone. Guests can listen back to the recording again before saving it.
No later than seven days after the KRUU Photo Booth returns to the warehouse, all voice notes will be uploaded and ready in the KRUU App. They are saved there alongside your photos—so you have all your memories in one central place to listen to, view, download or share.
Just like your photos, the voicemails from the KRUU Audio Guestbook are securely saved in the KRUU App for 3 months. During this time, you can listen to and download them as often as you like to keep these special memories forever.
