Meet Our Founders

Philipp - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

"Every special moment should be captured – regardless of location or budget." Philipp ensures that we remain a team and, as CEO, is also responsible for our public image.From leaving school in 11th grade to building a career in game level design and eventually founding his own agency in 2012. Since 2015, he has focused on photo booths. In 2017, he completely withdrew from the agency industry to concentrate on KRUU and the further development of photo booths. When Philipp isn't running a company, he rocks the stage as a musician in the band AOP. A true doer with heart and vision.

Jochen - Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

"My goal: to understand numbers, recognize connections, and make decisions especially when things get difficult." Jochen handles finances at KRUU. After graduating from high school, he completed an apprenticeship as a media designer and went into business for himself at the age of 21. In his mid-20s, he was active in local politics for five years before working as a solo freelancer for many years and later running an agency with Philipp and Oli. They founded KRUU at the end of 2015, and since 2017, Jochen has been deepening his knowledge of all the company's financial matters. Numbers are his thing, but so is a good vibe! Jochen has DJed in clubs and at events across Germany and captured unforgettable moments as a wedding photographer for over 10 years.

Oli – Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

"Nothing's impossible!" Oli is the brains behind our photo booth and ensures that everything runs smoothly from a technical perspective. After graduating from high school, he completed an apprenticeship in printing, studied media technology, and graduated with a degree in engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH)) in 2003. He automated print media until 2009 before starting his own agency in 2009. Since 2015, his entire focus has been on the further development of our photo booth hardware. In his free time, Oli passionately tinkers with audio amplifiers and enjoys cooking for family and friends – a true technology pro with a passion for his work.
