The KRUU photo booth is a mobile photo booth with which you can take funny snapshots that can immediately be printed out. Like almost every trend, this one also comes from the US. Initially, photo booths were permanently installed constructions. After coins were deposited, several pictures could be taken. After a few minutes, the pictures were printed out and spontaneous pictures could then be taken home as a souvenir. A photo booth is generally perfect for any type of event. Regardless of whether you are celebrating a wedding, company event or a birthday – you cannot go wrong with a KRUU photo booth.
It is simple to check whether a photo booth is available for your chosen event date by clicking on the "check your desired date" button below. If a photo booth becomes available, you will immediately receive notification via e-mail. From this point forward, your photo booth will be reserved free of charge for a period of three (3) hours. If you would like to turn a reservation into a booking, then simply click on the “Book” button in the e-mail.
If so, then please contact our support department via e-mail: support-en@kruu.com. You will receive additional material for your printouts – and, of course, at a much lower price.
After your booking, you can make payment on the photo booth within the next seven (7) days.
The team at KRUU.com stands behind the KRUU photo booth.Our team currently consists of 45 full-time employees who are also involved in the manufacturing and renting of our KRUU photo booth. We have already rented thousands of photo booths and would be extremely excited if you decide to rent one, too. Should you have any questions, then please contact our customer support.
So that you don't have to deal with annoying paperwork in the event of damage after your party, we recommend that you book our photobooth insurance. Insurance covers damage to the device occurring during the event as a result of proper use in accordance with KRUU provisions. The deductible is €100.In our Premium Package the Photobooth insurance is already included.
The KRUU Photobooth is only sent to the mainland. Due to the high demand, shipments to Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, the Canary Islands and Corsica are now available. A surcharge for the island has to be paid due to the higher transport costs. You can simply select and book this in the booking process.
That depends on the Photo Booth package. In our Lite Bundle, no printer is included. With our Basic Bundle, you get our user-friendly and compact thermal printer with the printing flatrate. That printer allows you to hold your funny snapshots in your hands shortly after taking them thanks to instant printing. The prints have a format of 5x10 cm or 10x15 cm and are printed on high-quality photo paper. We are particularly proud of our new Premium Photo Booth. We recommend the Premium Photo Booth from a number of approx. 200 guests, because it is equipped with a high-speed photo printer incl. print flat rate and offers you many different print formats (32). You can view these in your customer portal.
Our photo booth comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display. This display is used to take all pictures. Use the photo booth display to select whether to save a photo or if you want to take a new one.
We use different camera models, a modern full HD camera, as well as the Canon EOS 1300D and 2000D (both SLR cameras) with a high resolution for perfect pictures.
Due to the professional super flash, badly underexposed images are a thing of the past. Using extra lighting in the room is not necessary. The flash creates a soft, indirect light to create a special Hollywood effect.
The photo booth is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen display. This way it can be easily operated and wired triggers are a thing of the past.
You want to hold your prints in your hands in just 19 seconds and not change the material for the print outs frequently? Then book our Premium Photo Booth. With it you get our high-speed photo printer. You'll hold your funny snapshots in your hands in just 19 seconds - it doesn't get much faster than that. Important! Please note that you will have to take a close look into the functioning of this device after receiving it. The printer is a professional device that is not easy to operate. However, thanks to our instructions, changing the replacement material is feasible if you familiarise yourself with it in advance.

The box of our Photobooth Lite and our Photobooth Basic has the dimensions 69x39x36 cm and weighs approx. 16 kg including the Fotobox. Our Photobooth Premium is delivered in a package with the dimensions 100x39x36 cm and weighs approx. 21 kg.
Both the set-up as well as the dismantling of the photo booth are easy to do and can be completed within just a few minutes. Of course, we will send you detailed instructions for setting up as well as dismantling the photo booth, and we will be available to you should you have any questions. Based on our experience, the set-up of the photo booth should not cause any problems and even people that are not technically inclined are able to do it. Using the instructions, the set-up of the photo booth should not take longer than five minutes.
In order to achieve a perfect result, your photo booth should be set up at least one metre and from the person or persons being photographed. You can also individually vary the distance to suit your needs. The photo booth itself does not take up lots of space and is therefore very compact and space-saving. You only have to set up in the vicinity of two electrical outlets.
In order to operate the photo booth, you do not require any technical knowledge, since the set-up is extremely easy. Everything you require to do this can be found in the detailed instructions included in our package. However, if you should encounter problems during the set-up, we will of course be able to assist you if you need our help.
If you should encounter problems with the set-up or use of our photo booth, we will gladly help. Simply give us a call. After booking your photo booth, you will receive our service hotline number. Please contact this number if you encounter any problems. We will do our best to provide you with technical first-aid so that you can continue to enjoy your event without having to worry about anything.
It is possible to have our photo booth delivered to a UPS parcel shop under certain conditions. Please note the following points when entering the delivery address in your customer portal: 1. Enter the name of the UPS parcel shop in the "Company" field. 2. Enter the address of the UPS parcel shop under "Address". 3. Enter your first and last name in the field "Name". Also ensure that the UPS Package Shop meets the following conditions: 1. Ensure that the UPS Parcel Shop accepts packages measuring 69 cm x 36 cm x 39 cm or 100 cm x 39 cm x 36 cm (Premium). 2. Ensure that the UPS Parcel Shop is open throughout the day of delivery. 3. Verify that the UPS Parcel Shop is not on vacation on the day of delivery. If you fulfil all the conditions in advance, then nothing stands in the way of delivery to a UPS parcel shop.
You can rent our photo booth for your event from 249,00 USD including VAT, shipping costs and various funny photo booth props. Your photos will be available in our app after your event. There is no time limit for using the photo booth on the day of the event. The photo booth is equipped with a reflex camera or a similar camera, touch screen, super flash and optionally a photo printer or a high-speed printer.3. Übersetzung
The photo booth will be shipped so that it arrives 1-3 days before your event. When exactly the photo booth arrives is shown in your customer portal. It’s best to have the photo booth sent directly to your home in order to be able to test the functionality in a stress-free environment. The shipping of the photo booth via our forwarder UPS is included in the price. ATTENTION: The delivery can take place in exceptional cases also earlier (than the usual 1-3 days), therefore you will receive by e-mail a tracking number which you can use to follow the delivery at any time!
Each photo booth that exits our warehouse is set-up, tested and individually configured. After the return of the photo booth, we need sufficient time to recalibrate it for the next event. So that every customer receives his or her photo booth on time, we are unable to send the photo booth a day sooner or later than planned.
Of course, we send you numerous fun accessories with our Photo Booth, so that each of your guests will find something they like. The practical paper accessories do not need to be returned after use. If you have your own ideas and props, you are of course welcome to use them.
The photo booth does not come with a background system. However, this also isn’t necessary. A simple wall is sufficient as a background. We recommend placing the photo booth against the wall and not to have it extend into a room. However, if you still need a background system, you can find a wide range of them on the Internet.
Our photo booth is only made for indoor events. It must be ensured that the operating temperature, particularly for the printer, is between 10°C and 40°C under normal conditions. The photo booth must never be subject to direct sunlight (particularly in the summertime), since this might cause the operating temperature to exceed 40°C. Particularly on cold and moist days (recommended humidity range 30–80 %), the printer is not operational. For this reason, the photo booth can particularly only be used in heated rooms during the winter months. In addition, the operating temperatures (+/- a few degrees) apply to almost all printers.
The single photo option for your Photo Booth event is only included in our Premium package. Here you can switch between single photo or collage printing directly on site! If you have already booked a Photo Booth, you can easily upgrade for an additional fee. Simply specify the details up to 7 days before the Photo Booth is sent out in your customer portal. And if you want to create your individual design you can download a template with all the important information from your client portal.
In your customer portal, we will present you with a selection of possible designs from which you can make your individual selection. Of course, you can also upload your own individual design in your customer portal.
After the first shot, you'll see a preview of your saved photo in the form of a collage. Tap the camera icon to take the next snap. The countdown starts once more and the shutter will trigger automatically. After it is taken, you can use the photo filters again. Go on to the next shot or delete the picture if you don't like it. Perform this procedure repeatedly until the final image for the collage is taken. Bear in mind that, our event photo booth will always show you and your guests how many pictures need to be taken to complete each fun collage.
When you book the photo booth Basic or photo booth Premium, you automatically receive our print flat rate for unlimited prints. So you don't have to worry about running out of paper during your party. We include enough paper for over 20 hours of Fotobox fun. And don't worry, so far no one has managed to use up the material ;).
All photos taken will be available for download in a password-protected app after the event.
No, all photos taken will be available for download in a password-protected online gallery after the event. Therefore, no additional storage medium is required. Please do not insert any external storage medium/device (SD card, USB stick, etc.) into the printer or the photo booth.
As soon as the photo booth arrives in our warehouse after your event, all photos will be stored. Within seven days after the return of the photo booth, your photos will be available in the app. There you and your guests can comment, like and download all the photos. You will also receive an email as soon as the photos are available in the app. Your photos will be stored for 3 months.
The printer of the KRUU Photo Booth Premium automatically cuts the pictures apart. With the KRUU Photo Booth Basic, your guests simply cut the printout themselves with scissors.
